No. 17 Florida State baseball (25-18, 17-13 ACC) fell to Florida Gulf Coast (27-17, 12-6 ASUN) by a score of 8-7 on Wednesday afternoon. The game took two days after multiple rain delays and a suspension of play on Tuesday. The Seminoles roared back from a four-run deficit, but fell after a ninth-inning homer. The game one loss to the Eagles was FSU’s ninth one-run loss of the season. Florida State is 3-9 in one-run games this season.
