TALLAHASSEE — Host Florida State faced an early 14-point first-half deficit on Saturday and a late rally wasn’t enough in the Seminoles’ 31-21 loss to No. 22 Wake Forest.
The loss was the first for the Seminoles, who saw their unbeaten streak snapped at four games. The defeat will also likely drop FSU out of the top 25 after a quick week-long stay. It was the first time the program had been ranked since 2019.
