Mike Norvell’s four new assistant coaches met with the media on Tuesday for their introductory press conference, and boy, they put on a show. Between conversations about the moon landing, cooking classes, and FSU trivia questions, the new staff already endeared themselves to the fan base and changed the energy in the room after a few weeks on the job.
First-year safeties coach Evan Cooper talked about why he took the FSU job and his history with the program.
“I grew up in South Florida, and my family is a Florida State family. I don’t know if there are bigger Florida State fans in the world…when the opportunity presented itself, I was all in.
