Shilo Sanders boasts nearly a dozen offers, including a handful from some traditional SEC and Big 10 powerhouses. The three-star cornerback’s latest is just a little bit different. Sanders, who’s the son of Hall of Fame cornerback Deion Sanders, announced Tuesday that Florida State extended him a scholarship offer.
“I am extremely grateful and blessed to receive an offer from Florida State University!” Sanders wrote on Twitter.
The Sanders name has a strong legacy with the Seminoles. Deion Sanders was a two-time All-American in Tallahassee and his No. 2 is retired by Florida State. Sanders reportedly eyed a job on the Seminoles coaching staff last year when coach Willie Taggart was assembling his staff, although nothing came to fruition.
