Florida State baseball (8-0) hit the road for the second time this season, heading east to take on Jacksonville University in a Tuesday mid-week matchup.

The Seminoles and Dolphins traded punches early before the Seminoles took the lead for good in the fifth inning behind Brody DeLamielleure’s blast. After a shaky first inning, starter Evan Chrest bounced back with a strong five inning outing. Despite never losing the lead, the bullpen made the game interesting late before securing the 9-6 win for FSU.

The Seminoles offense looked to break the game open early with three straight hits to start the first.
