While Florida State practiced as a team on Wednesday, it looked like two sides heading in opposite directions for most of the day.
The defense clearly won a day focused on the situational moments of a game, such as third down and the red zone, as Adam Fuller’s group looks to build on a solid but not incredible performance last week against Memphis.
“I felt our defense had one of their better practices... I just felt their energy and approach,” head coach Mike Norvell said after practice, lauding their enthusiasm. “Guys were extremely competitive. I liked what they did, and they were doing it with good communication.
