A challenging season for Florida State men’s basketball got a bit more difficult after the Seminoles found themselves without three of their starters against Virginia Tech Saturday.
FSU found itself without redshirt senior forward Malik Osborne, senior guard RayQuan Evans and sophomore guard Caleb Mills against the Hokies. While the Seminoles fought to within 2 points midway through the second half, the loss of the veterans was too much to overcome as Virginia Tech pulled away for an 85-72 win.
“All teams go through periods where we deal with these circumstances,” Hamilton said Monday. “We’ve avoided it over the years because we’ve had so much depth.
