Ahead of Leonard Hamilton’s final regular season game at Florida State, reports have emerged indicating that the program may have found his successor.
Andrea Adelson of ESPN and Jon Rothstein of CBS Sports have both reported that current Sacramento Kings assistant and former FSU basketball player Luke Loucks has emerged as the top candidate for the position.
Rothstein’s sources indicate that Loucks has been offered the job and contract negotiations are underway with Adelson saying a deal is expected to be put together over the weekend.
Loucks played for Florida State from 2008 to 2012, part of the Seminoles’ first-ever ACC Tournament championship win.
