Ryan Green has had an up-and-down career at Florida State, switching positions two different times (from running back to corner back to running back) in an effort to break through and find a spot to contribute.
But on Saturday he left it all on the field, racking up 96 yards and three touchdowns during FSU’s 77-6 victory over Delaware State.
The senior matched nearly 60 percent of his season-high in total yards (163 yards in 2013) and doubled his career touchdown total in just seven attempts vs. the Hornets.
Green’s first score came from a five-yard run to cap off a 44-yard drive, and his second an impressive 50-yard burst that saw him speed through defenders and shake off a would-be tackler at the 10-yard line to finish off the score.
