Report: FSU men’s basketball coach Leonard Hamilton sued over NIL compensation

Yahoo Sports’ Ross Dellenger reported Monday that Florida State’s men’s basketball coach, Leonard Hamilton, will have a lawsuit filed against him from six former players on the 2023-24 team for not fulfilling promises on NIL compensation. Dellenger details that the coach promised $250,000 to each of the six players from his “business partners” and reiterated multiple times during the year that he would follow through. The six players who are now the plaintiffs in the case are Darin Green Jr., Primo Spears, Cam’ron Fletcher, Josh Nickelberry, and Jalen Warley. The Seminoles are 9-4 this season, have not played a game since December 21st, and do not take the court until January 4th in a home matchup against Syracuse.
