Florida State Seminoles football is apparently on the verge of making history — and not in a particularly fun way.
Yahoo! Sports Ross Dellenger is reporting that sources have informed him that first-of-their-kind NIL penalties are being handed down to the Seminoles.
Offensive coordinator and offensive line coach Alex Atkins sit at the center of the alleged violations and will serve a three-game suspension to start the 2024 season.
In addition to the suspension, penalties range from financial fines to limitations on transfer portal communication to having to disassociate from NIL collective Rising Spear.
