According to a report by Brendan Sonnone of 247sports.com, defensive back Cyrus Fagan is no longer with the Florida State Seminoles’ football team, having been removed from the roster Monday morning. A team spokesperson confirmed to 247sports that Fagan was no longer a member of the team.
Fagan is a senior this season and played as recently as Florida State’s win over Jacksonville State, so this news comes as a bit of a surprise. However, Fagan was buried on the depth chart behind several younger players at safety. After playing a combined 635 snaps the last two seasons, Fagan had only seen the field for 14 snaps this year.
