ORLANDO, Fla. -- Florida State coach Jimbo Fisher said Thursday that quarterback Sean Maguire and running back Dalvin Cook are ahead of schedule in their injury rehabs and should be ready to go full speed next month.
Cook, an early preseason Heisman Trophy candidate, had shoulder surgery in early April after getting hurt during a pass protection drill in spring practice.
Fisher, in Orlando to participate in a jobs summit with Florida coach Jim McElwain and Miami coach Mark Richt, said of Cook: "When June goes, he'll be running full speed with our players, and when August comes he'll be in contact and everything will be going great.
