Xavier Rhodes was drafted by the Minnesota Vikings in the first round of the 2013 NFL Draft with the No. 25 overall pick.
He was one of Jimbo Fisher’s greatest moves in terms of players switching positions. Rhodes came to FSU football as a three-star wide receiver before Fisher convinced him to switch to defensive back.
At FSU, Rhodes was ACC Defensive Rookie of the Year in 2010 and First-Team ACC in 2012.
He was with the Vikings his entire career but was released a few days ago. Rhodes wasn’t on the market long, as it was announced Thursday afternoon he signed a one-year deal with the Indianapolis Colts.
