As the college football world was focused on who would win the national championship this past Monday out in California, the FSU football family was celebrating one of the few bits of good news that the Seminoles have had since their 5-7 season this year: the news that another Noles great will be inducted into the sport’s Hall of Fame.
The latest former Seminole that will be enshrined is former defensive back Terrell Buckley – a man who dominated the secondary of college football during his time with FSU football and brought home the Jim Thorpe Award as the top defensive back in the game during the 1991 season and was one of the reasons why the Seminoles are the real DBU.
