Monday, Sports Illustrated's Peter King discussed the Tampa Bay Buccaneers not talking with Jameis Winston's accuser. That would seem to be a lack of due diligence on behalf of the Bucs.
The obvious reason here is that Erica Kinsman's claims (all of the differing versions, some quite contradictory of one another) are already out there via the police report, investigative report, code of conduct hearing transcripts, and complaints in her civil lawsuits against Florida State and Winston, which is what the Bucs' GM Lason Licht said.
