When Deondre Francois last played at Camping World Stadium in Orlando, he was guiding Florida State back from a 22-point first-half deficit against Ole Miss, wrapping up a Labor Day Weekend with a thrilling 45-34 Seminoles’ win.
Since that day — Sept. 5, 2016 — Francois has been through his own comeback story, with the latest chapter taking him to the XFL, where the Orlando Guardians selected him during the start of the league’s three-day draft in Las Vegas.
“I have this opportunity and I’m one of the many guys here, so I’m just thankful,” Francois said of being selected.
