TALLAHASSEE — Florida State linebacker Ro'Derrick Hoskins often made the short trip to the Orlando Citrus Bowl when he was in high school.
Then a standout at Evans High, Hoskins journeyed about 15 minutes to the stadium to watch future FSU teammate Kermit Whitfield play his Jones High football games there or to check out state championship games held at the venue.
Hoskins was always a spectator, but that will change at 3 p.m. Saturday when FSU takes its annual spring football game on the road to the Citrus Bowl.
He is one of eight Seminoles scholarship players from the Orlando area that will get the chance to play in front of friends, family and a true hometown crowd Saturday.
