Odell Haggins will remain FSU’s defensive line coach

Change has been the norm at Florida State recently. Jimbo Fisher is out after taking over as the new head coach at Texas A&M. Willie Taggart is in as the Seminoles’ new head coach. But while aspects of FSU football are changing in Tallahassee, at least one constant will remain the same: Odell Haggins on the Florida State sideline.

Haggins has been a feel-good story, and for good reason. He became the first African-American to serve as head coach for the ’Noles, and he set a historic college football landmark along the way in guiding FSU to its 36th consecutive bowl appearance after stomping Louisiana-Monroe.
