Florida State football, after putting together a few less-than-below-expectation practices, was challenged by head coach Mike Norvell on Tuesday to begin to bring the “edge” that FSU is looking to re-establish as the standard in Tallahassee.
For their part, they rose to the occasion, putting on display the energy Norvell’s been trying to coax out of his squad.
“We did not lack intensity today. That was a good practice in a sense of guys coming out with purpose,” he said, though he cautioned that “we gotta make sure we’re maintaining control of emotions at times.
