FSU is trying to avoid a few things this Saturday vs. the North Carolina Tar Heels — going 1-8 for the first time since 1975, logging the program’s worst-ever ACC record and, once again, protecting an unbeaten streak vs. a specific entity.
UNC head coach Mack Brown, who played at Florida State as a running back from 1972-1973 then was employed there from 1973-1974 as a wide receivers coach, is 0-11 all-time vs. Florida State — including an 0-2 mark since taking over the Tar Heels in 2019.
