Noles News: FSU set to face off against LSU for spot in Sweet 16

FSU head coach Brooke Wyckoff earned her first NCAA Tournament program win on Saturday as the sixth-seeded Seminoles scored the second-highest total points in program history in a 94-59 win over George Mason:

Ta’Niya Latson led FSU with 28 points and five rebounds. Makayla Timpson delivered a double-double with 18 points and 11 boards. O’Mariah Gordon had 18 points, six rebounds and four assists. Sydney Bowles was 5-5 from deep for 15 points as well as seven rebounds.

The game was won in the first four minutes of the fourth quarter when the Seminoles went on that devastating 12-0 run.
