Noles News: FSU closes campus as potential Hurricane Helene approaches

Florida State announced it was closing campus beginning Wednesday, Sept. 25, 2024 at 7 a.m., due to Tropical Storm Helene, with the closure remaining in place until 11 p.m. ET Sunday, Sept. 29:

The university expects to resume normal business operations at 12:00 a.m. Monday, Sept. 30, 2024. The Marine Lab at Turkey Point will also be closed on these dates. If changes to operations are needed at other campus locations, targeted communications will follow.

Rain, winds, and thunderstorms are possible ahead of tropical storm conditions Wednesday through Friday. Please stay alert and continue to monitor weather conditions.
