No. 7 FSU soccer handles Clemson

No. 7 Florida State (7-0-2, 2-0-1 ACC) defeated Clemson (4-4-2, 0-3-0 ACC) by a 3-0 score this evening at the Seminole Soccer Complex.

Game Recap

The two teams started out in an extended feeling out period. However, in the 29th minute Florida State generated a dangerous chance. Carissa Boeckmann weaved her way through the midfield. Boeckmann picked out Giana Riley in the box. Riley battled with Maria Manousos but was able to lay the ball off for Taylor Suarez who was trailing the play. Suarez one-timed a dangerous cross for Wrianna Hudson at the edge of the six.
