No. 7 Florida State baseball (28-7, 11-4) takes on the South Florida Bulls (20-13, 8-4) on Tuesday night in Tallahassee, the first game back home for FSU in over a week. The Seminoles defeated USF 6-2 in Tampa during their early-season meeting. Alex Lodise, Max Williams, and Cal Fisher each recorded two hits, and Evan Chrest turned in a quality start. This time, Chrest will not be on the mound as Link Jarrett announced last week that he expects the mid-week starter to miss the remainder of the season.
FSU regained its footing with a series sweep over Virginia Tech as the weekend starters posted back-to-back-to-back quality starts and the offense pushed just enough across the plate.
