In the eighth minute Wake Forest generated the first dangerous chance. Emily Murphy received the ball on the left side. Murphy worked her way into the box before firing a hard and low right footed shot for goal. However, Addie Todd displayed her athleticism to get down for a great right footed kick save to deny Murphy.
