Ashtyn Danley got the Friday start against Notre Dame for game one of the series between the Seminoles and the Irish. Just two pitches into the game, Danley put two runners on base via a single and bunt.
The scoring broke open after a single sneaked past the infield to make it 1-0 for ND. A grounder to first was thrown back to home to cut down the run, but after a lengthy review, the runner was called safe and it was soon a 2-0 game with no outs. Three outs from the starter got her out of the inning, stranding two runners.
