Florida State softball came out swinging on Friday against North Carolina, run ruling the Tar Heels. The bats didn’t quit in the 10 run victory, with a slew of multi-run homeruns.
In game two, Mimi Gooden got the start, after starting against No. 12 Florida on Wednesday. After the lead off out, a single and walk had runners on for North Carolina against Gooden. Another out on the board for the rookie pitcher gave way to her 5th batter, who hit a triple to push across two runs.
