After dropping a close game on Friday, Florida State softball needed to rally for game two against Virginia. Julia Apsel got her second appearance of the weekend as the game two starter. In the 1st inning, a one out walk went by the wayside as Apsel used her defense to keep it scoreless.
Julia Cuozzo got the start for the Cavaliers, and the Seminoles got two on, but left them both stranded as ground balls ended their inning.
A scoreless 2nd moved to the 3rd inning, where two batters reached. Two fielder’s choice plays gave FSU two outs, but an intentional walk loaded the bases.
