The No. 10 Florida State Seminoles (31-8, 11-7 ACC) lost just their second series of the season after dropping two of three against Wake Forest. The pitching-strapped Seminoles won the middle game of the weekend tilt. FSU’s injuries and lack of quality depth on the pitching staff contributed to the losing weekend.
Up next, the Seminoles look to bounce back against the North Florida Ospreys (18-19, 8-10 ASUN). UNF is also coming off a losing weekend, dropping two of three to the Jacksonville Dolphins. The Ospreys are 6-8 on the road this year. With Tuesday’s game, the Seminoles look to remain perfect on the season against squads from the state of Florida.
