FSU basketball (28-7) got back to its winning ways in first round of the NCAA Tournament against a scrappy Vermont team Thursday afternoon.
The No. 4 seeded Noles overcame Vermont’s 16 three-pointers to pull away late with the opportunity to face No. 12 seeded Murray State after they upset No. 5 seeded Marquette.
It’s a game a lot of folk are looking forward to watching with how Murray State’s Ja Morant dismantled Marquette with a triple-double.
The future NBA lottery pick led Murray State to a (28-4) season and will look to continue the NCAA Tournament version of March Madness with lower seeded teams beating higher seeds.
