After just two weeks of football, perhaps no team in America needed a bye week more than Florida State. Two disappointing and disconcerting losses give FSU a record of 0-2 heading into their first non-conference game against Memphis, Mike Norvell’s former school before taking the job in Tallahassee.
The time off should allow the Seminoles to course-correct and address the plethora of issues plaguing the roster right now. Norvell seemed optimistic in his open statement that the answers are inside the building and that the season is still in front of him.
“Coming off the bye weekend, I thought we had a good work week last week really trying to work and hone on in the details, fundamentals, and communication.
