The Florida State Seminoles struggled on both sides of the ball in their season-opening loss to the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets. The Seminoles gained 58 yards on the ground on their first drive, which seemingly set the tone. But by the time the clock expired, FSU’s ground game had added just 40 more yards, helping lead to an upset loss.
In total, the offense mustered just 291 yards. The run game averaged a measly 3.2 yards, in part due to the numbers GT defensive coordinator Tyler Santucci and the Yellow Jackets threw at Mike Norvell’s Noles.
