Former Florida State forward/center Makayla Timpson has been drafted by the Indiana Fever in the 2025 WNBA Draft. Timpson was selected by the Fever with the 19th overall pick.
Timpson had a distinguished career in Tallahassee. She led the Seminoles in rebounds and blocks. She led the ACC in blocks and was second in rebounding. Timpson was also second in the ACC in double-doubles. Timpson is a two-time first team all-ACC selection. Timpson’s name litters the Florida State record book. She is Florida State’s all time leading rebounder and ranks second in blocked shots.
