The Louisville Cardinals scored early and often to record a 14-2 series clinching win over Florida State.
The Seminoles had early traffic on the bases in their first but were unable to capitalize. The same could not be said for the Cardinals in their half of the inning. Louisville connected on three home runs in the first to jump out to a 5-0 lead. FSU was again unable to score in the second but the Cardinals were also blanked in their frame.
FSU finally broke through in the third inning after an Alex Lodise double drove in Hunter Carns and Gage Harrelson walk.
