Florida State will be happy that their three-game series has expired today with their neighbors down 1-10. After needing ninth-inning heroics in their first matchup and grinding out a 5-3 win the second time, Jacksonville pushed FSU to the limit Tuesday.
The issues began for Florida State before the first pitch. Link Jarrett made four changes to the lineup from game one of the series against NC State. Jordan Williams, DeAmez Ross, McGwire Holbrook, and Cal Fisher slotted in for Jamie Ferrer, Max Williams, Jaxson West, and Drew Faurot for many reasons. Link Jarrett used 14 position players and seven pitchers during the 11-inning marathon.
