Thomas was a bookend on the Seminoles defensive front with fellow edge rusher Jermaine Johnson and the pair accounted for 18.5 of FSU’s 33 sacks. After a season in which he finished second on the team in tackles for loss (12) and sacks (6.5), Thomas is ready to take the next step.
The Miami native is in Orlando this week, preparing to showcase his talents in the Hula Bowl Saturday at Bounce House Stadium.
“It’s been great,” Thomas said of the experience so far. “With these great coaches, and I’m just trying to learn more and more every day and trying to gain 1% every day.
