Close to a month ago, the Michigan Wolverines made waves in the world of college football when head coach Jim Harbaugh announced that the team would hold their first week of spring practice not on campus in Ann Arbor…but instead 1,200 miles to the south at the IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida. The move was met with plenty of hesitation from the SEC, who asked the NCAA to stop it from taking place (something the governing body refused to do and said the Wolverines did nothing wrong).
Another conference in the region, the ACC, has been quiet on the subject and seems to be fine with it.
