Jimbo Fisher is not leaving Florida State for Georgia.
Period.
End of speculation.
Just so all the nonsensical message board and talk radio rumor-mongering would end, I asked Fisher on our Open Mike radio show to confirm that he's staying at FSU and isn't taking the Georgia job.
"You're exactly right," Fisher said. "I'm staying right here at Florida State."
Of course he is. It's like I wrote a few days ago when Fisher was supposedly going to take an LSU job that wasn't even open; why would he go to LSU or Georgia when he already has a better job at Florida State?
