The second wave of Florida State football defensive transfers participated in their newcomer interviews on Thursday, with JUCO defensive lineman Tyeland Coleman, Western Kentucky transfer defensive end Deante McCray and North Carolina Tar Heels transfer linebacker Caleb LaVallee all getting the chance to introduce themselves for the first time.
Each player fits the athletic, versatile style that new defensive coordinator Tony White seeks, but they must prepare for a rise in competition and consistency.
LaVallee began the day by mentioning his relationship with defensive coordinator Tony White.
