With the first game of the season just two weeks away, Mike Norvell tightened the screws on Florida State’s second scrimmage of the fall.
“Today was to see guys that were maybe new to the program, guys that are in very heated battles for spots and positions. What role is there going to be on this team? We basically played a modified half of football after the situational beginning, and it was good.”
Norvell stated that veterans, including most of the starting offensive line, received limited playing time, allowing some younger depth to push through and compete.
