The Seminoles’ new coaching staff continues to take shape, as Florida State has parted ways with former strength and conditioning coach Vic Viloria and will hire Irele Oderinde to serve in that capacity.
As has been common with the new staff being assembled in Tallahassee, Oderinde has an extensive history with new head coach Willie Taggart. Like Taggart, he played his college ball at Western Kentucky, although not at the same time as Taggart. But while Taggart was a QB, Oderinde was a nose tackle.
Also like Taggart, Oderinde began his coaching career at WKU. He then moved on to Notre Dame and South Carolina before rejoining Taggart at South Florida.
