In the middle of the first offensive scout period of the day, Mike Norvell had seen enough.
He called together the entire unit and went on a tirade, mainly focused at the offensive line and reading between the lines, he told them they needed to pick it up. After practice, Norvell was tight-lipped.
“That was more of a procedural thing that I wanted fixed, and we needed to get that adjusted.”
That wouldn’t be the only time the head coach raised his voice on Wednesday.
With Clemson coming to town on Saturday and the Seminoles breaking in a new starting quarterback, Florida State cannot continue making the same mistakes or practicing with the same effort — and Norvell confirmed after practice that his team responded.
