Florida State turned up the heat on Tuesday, ditching shells and putting on full pads for the first time in fall camp. After practice, head coach Mike Norvell commented on his team's physicality.
“Today was a good, competitive day. Physical, physical practice, first day in full pads. A couple of three-day stretches to kick off fall camp and put in a lot of good work. I mean, the last three days, high player loads, very explosive, fast in how we have been practicing.”
Once the head man finished his press conference, quarterback DJ Uiagalelei talked with the media for the first time in the fall, giving an update on his first week of practice.
