Hungry FSU, Pitt face off for elusive ACC momentum

TALLAHASSEE — Florida State coach Mike Norvell and his players say they will fight to live up to the Seminoles' elite legacy when they host the Pittsburgh Panthers on Saturday.

FSU (2-4, 1-4 ACC) entered this season expected to move up in the ACC thanks to an elite defense. The Seminoles have endured numerous setbacks, including a lopsided loss at Louisville before a bye week, and say they are ready to prove to fans they can dominate in Game 7 of the season.

Pittsburgh (3-4, 2-4 ACC) also entered this season believing it could contend for a spot in the ACC title game, but the Panthers have struggled to string together wins.
