Heading into halftime, Florida State holds a slim, 3-0 lead after a scoreless second quarter.
Early in the second frame, FSU was pinned deep in its own territory after a sack to James Blackman. Punting from the back of its own end zone, Logan Tyler booted a 51-yard punt, which was followed by a great tackle from true freshman Hamsah Nasirildeen on returner Braxton Berrios six yards behind where he caught the ball. With the addition of a face mask penalty on Berrios, UM had the ball on its 21 yard line, a 73-yard change of possession.
