Florida State announced this afternoon that they have officially parted ways with offensive line coach and run game coordinator Greg Frey. Frey was a former FSU offensive lineman and a member of FSU’s first national championship team in 1993. He returned to Florida State after the hiring of Willie Taggart coaching a unit that battled injuries the entire 2018 season.

This morning I informed Greg Frey that we are moving in a different direction with our offensive line coaching position. I appreciate the hard work and expertise Greg brought to our program and understand how important it was for him that FSU be successful.
