The No. 1 overall seed Florida State Seminoles soccer team continues its NCAA College Cup run today, taking on unseeded (but ranked No. 4 in the coaches poll) Penn State in the Sweet 16.
FSU beat UW-Milwaukee 3-0 in its opening tournament game, starting off slow before shaking off the rust and showcasing the talent available on the Seminoles’ squad.
From our Prince Akeem Joeffer:
FSU was a bit rusty early with a couple of bad touches and a couple of errant passes. The Seminoles haven’t played an official game since the ACC championship on November 15th.
