Florida State receiver Nyqwan Murray is no stranger to coming up big when the game is on the line. Just ask Michigan. But on Saturday, the Seminole receiver victimized another program: the Louisville Cardinals. Murray had an up-and-down game for the ’Noles, but he certainly closed on a high note when he cashed in his second touchdown catch of the game to clinch an FSU win over the Cards.
Murray spoke to the assembled media in Louisville, and reaffirmed his belief in the new regime led by head coach Willie Taggart. With regard to the game-winning touchdown that he scored, Murray was straight to the point, stating that after he snagged a crossing route and broke a couple of tackles, he was “off to the races,” with the help of a fine downfield block from Tamorrion Terry.
