Mike Norvell is no stranger to the transfer portal as the Florida State coach has witnessed firsthand the challenges it presents to college football programs.
The Seminoles, for instance, signed 13 transfers this past offseason as Norvell and his staff looked to reshape a roster devoid of veteran experience. Many of those signed including defensive ends Jermaine Johnson II and Keir Thomas, cornerback Jammie Robinson and quarterback McKenzie Milton have made an instant impact.
But the portal works both ways with FSU seeing several players leave the program including former 4-star quarterback Chubba Purdy, who announced his decision last week.
